Custom-fit, wire-free bras—engineered with 3D scanning, computational design, and on-demand manufacturing.
Repeatable pipeline from scan → mesh → 3D-print-ready output.Significant reduction in modeling time for each custom piece.Extensible step for pattern generation on the mesh to create design series
For Uniphorm, I built an end-to-end Grasshopper workflow that turns raw body point-clouds into an optimized, printable brassiere mesh. The pipeline cleans and reconstructs geometry from scans, exposes designer-friendly parameters (profile curves, shaping curves, thickness), and outputs a watertight mesh suitable for additive manufacturing—enabling rapid production of custom-fit pieces at scale.
Clean noisy point-clouds without losing anatomical fidelity.Reconstruct a smooth, watertight mesh from sparse/uneven data.Parameterize fit and support (curves, shaping, thickness) for fast iteration.Deliver consistent, 3D-print-ready outputs to reduce turnaround time.
Point-cloud preprocessing in Grasshopper (filtering, outlier removal, re-sampling).Mesh reconstruction and smoothing with topology checks and hole-fill.Parametric controls for key design drivers (curve sets + thickness).Export stage that validates manifoldness and print tolerances.
